As a child I lived in a small town south of Chicago. We lived on 3 acres, and I actually rode my horse to our 1 room schoolhouse. When I was 8 my family moved us to California, and we lived in Pacific Grove and San Jose.
I’m married and have a 28 year old son, who’s doing well in the book publishing industry.

I attended CSU, Chico, and obtained an M.A. in English. I went back to the Bay Area for 20 years, and then decided to come back to Chico to start my company.
